It's All About The Ride

Mother Nature was very gracious to Juniper Village this year. Prayers were in everyone's thoughts hoping that the weather would be in our favor for our 2nd Annual Classic Car Show. Our prayers were answered!!! The hot rods, the classics and the antique cars made their way in with no troubles. Our residents cheered them on and were anxious to start the tour. Everyone had a story to share of the days when they owned one of these classic cars. It was time for the vote but decisions were not easy to make. "They are all winners" our residents thought. This event would have not been possible without the wonderful and caring people from the "Hot Chili Rods" car club.
They truly knew how to Nurture The Spirit of many lives at Juniper Village.

Food From Around The World

Our second annual "Food From Around The World" was once again a success. Stephanie and Stacy from Senior Home Care proudly displayed their Hawaiian table with "Aloha Spirits". Pulled pork on a Hawaiian bun topped with a pineapple bit was a great success with our residents. Of
course, the pina coladas were worth the wait in line. Jeff from Advanced Diabetic scooped up healthy servings of his Chinese food to everyone along with a fortune cookie. Hilda from Infinity Homecare added a little spice when she brought along the festive music from Mexico to go along with the homemade tortilla shells and salsa. Denise added the German touch with her flag. No-one refused a serving of her apple strudel. As the event came to a close, everyone was debating whether or not they were going to come down for the evening meal! We are already counting down until next year when this event comes back around.
