In The Good Old Summer Time

What better way to celebrate the summer than a good old fashion picnic. Everyone got together to plan the menu. Hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill it is!!!!! With careful packing, everything
and everyone was loaded and on the bus ready to go. The tables were set with red and white checkered tablecloths which made it even more
festive. The smell of the food cooking on the grill brought back wonderful memories of past picnics and family gatherings. A dip in the water was on the "TO DO" list for one of our ladies along with the
family. The final topping, of course, were the homemade cupcakes, "Finger Licking Good" was every ones comment. It was time to pack it up and finally head back home. This truly was The Good Old Summer Time.

A Paddle Boat Ride On The Indian Princess

Sunblock (check) Sunglasses (check) Comfortable Shoes (check). Everyone was excited and looking forward to our trip on the Indian Princess. The Indian Princess is an authentic replica of the original
American steamships. A step back in time as we traveled the back bays of Fort Myers Beach was promised by our tour guide. The weather was
just as perfect as the company we had. A few of the residents decided to be adventurous and go up on the second deck. Watching other boats go by and people fishing was one of many conversations taking place. And yes, as promised by our tour guide "Dolphins were swimming alongside of our Ship". Our captain kept us entertained as he shared the many land sights and stories of this great river. We certainly will share these memories with our families and friends. Who knows, maybe next time they will join us for an adventure out to the river.
