Grace Methodist Church and Juniper Village at Cape Coral has a very special relationship. This holiday season the children of the parish decided to adopt our residents as their honorary grandparents. We were invited to the Church to watch their Christmas Nativity program and join in their festivities. What a sight to see 50 beautiful children aging from 2 to 4 years old perform without a flaw. Our Juniper Village residents were VIP guests with reserved front row seats for this outstanding performance. The show was followed by Christmas Caroling and their angelic voices were as mesmerizing as their performance. After a very long standing ovation the children escorted our residents to their banquet hall for a holiday celebration. Juniper Village prepared cookies and punch for the party and the children provided lots of hugs, kisses and memories that will not be forgotten. There is nothing more special than the love that these children bestowed upon their adopted grandparents for the holiday. Although the holidays are still in full swing at Juniper Village, our residents are already looking forward to joining their little sweethearts for their Valentine's Day Dance in February.
